The iF Design Award recognizes outstanding design achievements in various fields every year. It is highly connected with industrial economic activities and everyday life, making it one of the most important global design quality certifications. Since its establishment in Germany in 1953, the iF logo has become a globally recognized symbol of excellent design, acknowledged by both consumers and the design community. 2016 Red Dot Product Design Award
The Red Dot Product Design Award was established in 1955 and is dedicated to selecting the best products of each year. The award is open to manufacturers and designers from around the world, who can submit their works for evaluation in 51 different categories. To support emerging designers, a special "Newcomer Program" was established, allowing young designers who have graduated within the last five years to participate in a lottery for 50 free registration slots. The evaluation process follows the philosophy of "In search of good design and innovation." The Red Dot jury reviews all submissions, and only products with outstanding design quality are recognized with the prestigious Red Dot award.
2016 Taiwan Excellence Award
The Taiwan Excellence Award was established by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 1993. It is awarded annually through a strict selection process based on four major criteria: "Research & Development," "Design," "Quality," and "Marketing." Products that demonstrate "innovative value" are selected and honored with the Taiwan Excellence Award, serving as a model for Taiwan's industries.
The Taiwan Excellence Award has held 27 rounds of selection, and the Taiwan Excellence logo has become a symbol of Taiwan's innovative value products, with a high reputation internationally. This year, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion was also set up at the Taipei International Computer Show, inviting you to explore the brilliance of Taiwan.
2019 Red Dot Product Design Award
The Red Dot Product Design Award was founded in 1955 and is dedicated to selecting the best products each year. The award is open to manufacturers and designers from around the world, with entries competing in 51 categories. To support emerging designers, the Red Dot Award introduced the "Young Designers Program," offering 50 free registration spots for young designers who have graduated within the past five years.
The judging process follows the philosophy of "In search of good design and innovation." The Red Dot jury reviews all entries, and only products with outstanding design quality are recognized and awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award.
2019 Golden Pin Design Award
The Golden Pin Design Award was established in 1981 in Taiwan and is currently organized by the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), which handles the awards, ceremonies, and related activities. Since 2014, it has redefined its position as "the top design award for the global Chinese market," giving the Chinese design industry a voice. From 2015 onwards, the Golden Pin Design Award has been divided into three major competitions: the "Golden Pin Design Award," the "Golden Pin Concept Design Award," and the "Golden Pin Young Design Award." These awards aim to recognize outstanding innovative design products and works.
Through the professional recognition of the Golden Pin Design Award, businesses are encouraged to focus on product design and research and development, adding value to their brands through design.
